I tried green and blue eye shadow with blue liner for the first time, I always wear brown (occasionally subtle purple). Anyway I absolutely hate it on me. Is there a better way to do this or do some people just always look bad with bold - colored eyeshadow??!

I think I know what you mean. I don't like it so much on myself as well. But when I use a natural lipstick with it than I can look in the mirror and be somewhat happy with it. Anyway, I think it looks good on you! Especially because you have dark hair!

I honestly like it on you..on the second picture it looks like it makes your eyes pop...but I know what you mean for some reason I don't like blues turquoise on me either..

Here more options... But I think it look ok on you. You just not used to that and that's why you think it looks bad.

I think its beautiful on you. Also, you may feel it doesn't suit you because you rarely use it. I would say maybe ease into it a little at a time. Blue is my go to for eye shadow, its whenever I use pink/browns I feel odd.

I think it looks pretty on you Erica. I love the pic that Crisel. I hope you keep trying Erica cause I love how your eyes pop with this color. Smile and stay beautiful. :)

Adding some depth with brown, black, or grey like in th pics crisel posted would definitely make the look feel richer. Don't be afraid to use colors! Especially in the summer, I always break out my greens, blues, and purples :-)
