I'm doing my friends makeup for formal on Thursday. her dress is black, and has a peach colored ribbon. any ideas for her makeup?

Depending on her hair colour, if its dark I wouldn't do a grey and black smokey eye might drown and wash her out to much, if that's the case I would try fake eye lashes with a wing, or a white and grey smokey eye.
