So I just signed up to go to the tanning beds. Is there any advice you can give me or things I should know before I go?

It's not as bad as a lotta people say. I tan really easily tho. I go tanning for a week and I'm dark for like the next 6 months lol.

I have been going for about a month I would say go for only 5 minutes your fist time, and buy a tanning lotion that the person there suggest for you skin type, tanning without lotion is never good. Drink 8oz of water so your skin is hydrated so you don't burn and use a good moisturizing chap stick before you go in!

I am Native American and white I ran wonderfully but I choose to stay white and pale and I embrace it I get so many compliments!! Tanning is the worst thing for pre mature aging!! Girls think they can't see damage it's not there truth is its in your second layer!

I know several people do not condone it, but if you choose to still do it on occasion, just don't burn. That's my best advice.

I don't recommend it at all. Tanning beds rays are 12 times more damaging than the suns. Also UVA and UVB rays cause cancer, wrinkles, premature aging/age spots and potentially cancer. If you really want to tan use a lotion or do it in the real sunlight with a SPF 10 or 15 that way you will still get your desired glow with much less damage and for much less money.

Self tanner? Bronzer? Or, just wear your beautiful color skin? Other than that, you should try outside in the real sun, with a little oil. =)
