I've heard about this a lot and I have terrible skin. I've heard more bad than good about it but I'm starting to get desperate. Does it do any good?

Your skin will get super dry. Drink a lot of water & use lip balm & moisturizer. Some people develop suicidal thoughts. (I did.) if this happens, stop immediately. That's not common though. And you can't have unprotected sex. I think that's pretty much it. Those effects are very much worth the beautiful end result!! :)

Accurate can give you blurred vision, but my friend is on it and her skin is looking SO much better. She says it's important to moisturize both your lips and face since its so drying. Although-- since it dries you out, you can probably leave your hair unwashed for 10 days and not have it be oily! Haha.

My best friend tried it & her skin became worse than it was. It became inflamed & she broke out with several bumps all over her cheeks that kind of looks like a bad case of razor bumps. I'm sure if she read this she's advise you to not use it but if you do I wish you the best of luck. Some medications react differently on different people.

I will just tell you this -- do a lot of research on Accutane before you agree. In my opinion, the cons outway the pros. Please do online research, further than just on beautylish. There have been several longterm studies done on people who've take accutane who've had serious intestinal problems including crohn's disease as well as infertility. It's ultimately your choice, but I would highly recommend you do a LOT of research and draw your own conclusions. I was on it for a while and am now worried that I may have fertility problems. Can I say that it is directly linked to that? No. But if I could do it over again, I wouldn't ever take accutane. Just my two cents though.

Definately do research!! It didn't even work for my friend and left her with bad acne scars where it did clear up , there's a ton of guidelines and side effects! Everyone's different though.

I agree with Lindsey E. my friend Eli now suffers from sever depression, chrons disease, chronic nose bleeds, a bunch of other stuff but that's the big things. He has to take so many pills now, but his face looks nice, but his health sucks.

I'm on accutane 40mg per day and I drink 2 16oz glasses of water with every meal and I have only experienced mild chapped lips and eczema but I just used some Vaseline and I was good! Also Accutane has made my skin almost completely clear.

I've personally used n it worked. I had dry skin n lips however my eyebrows would sweat. But I have been off of it for years and I still break out. Nuthin serious jus minor breakout during that time of the month. It's works differently for everyone. But do your own research before making that decision.

The dermas won't give you accutane until you've tried everything else and your acne is real bad.
