Maybe go see a different one? I'm sure their is because this happens to one of my bfs molars but he didn't have dental insurance and it was going to be pricy :/

When you chip your tooth you go into the dentist and they'll fill it in for you!

There isn't any way for a dead root to be cured. You need to go to the dentist and there maybe a possibility for a root canal. My mom is an orthodontist, it's not a dentist but she knows her stuff about teeth

Dentist here baby..
1. No hon no home remedy..black means your tooth is dead
2. I'm guessing its one of your front teeth..so it depends on how much you chipped it.
3. Less chipped will require RCT and for aesthetics you could get a crown veneer.(ask your dentist)
4. If most is chipped, it's better to get it extracted and get an implant..before it causes any damage..
