Well you should buy a foundation that matches your skin tone, for starters I would go to the drugstore, check out what shades are available. Then narrow it down to what skin type you are: oily, normal, dry, combo? Then it's easier for us (and yourself) to figure out what you should try out. :)

I would go to sephora and look at the Makeup forever line, they have a huge range of colors, Mac is good too but their colors are a little harder to match. They have a line called ' match master' try that!
