I can't find any salt spray mists at stores (even though I just started looking). I have all these hot tools but I can't figure out how to get just the right wave and volume. I don't really have a preference of using heat tools or not but any help is much appreciated!! Thanks :)

Mix salt and water together and spray in wet hair french braid and leave it in overnight. Or curl your hair and rush it out after for soft wavy curls.

Loose french braiding damp hair overnight always works, you don't even need a product to set them unless you want to.
If you want to use heat, this vid will definitely help you out: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NNPTJnq9B24

Dutch braid you hair at night, and use a light hold hairspray. In the morning, spray a diy salt spray in your braid, wait for it to dry, then take it out and brush out with your fingers. Then I add a tiny bit of hairspray and scrunch the waves and voilà! :) I do it on dry hair though, it's never fully dry if I do it on damp hair :/ xx
