It actually depends, you can contour during your foundation process by using two different foundations, a shade darker than your skin would be your contour and your shade would be every where else. After all your foundation is in place set yourself with a neutral set powder and your foundation and contour will remain in place all day. *note this only works if you're using liquid or cream foundations, if using powder you can still do it. Just don't powder again after*
