I would just suggest lay out for an hour each day. Put some baby oil on. 30mins laying on your back & another laying on your stomach.

I go to a tanning bed and am just careful I don't over-do it with how long I tan... I rotate different level beds and lotions because it keeps the skin always darkening. I'm not super tan... So once or twice a month I get spray tanned to just "perfect" the color... Tips on sprays: don't go more then 2 shades darker at a time; shave the night before; exfoliate before; wear a loos fitting dress so when you finish you don't mess up the spray as it is continually drying...

IMO, I don't know why anyone would risk getting skin cancer by laying out in the sun or using a tanning bed when there are awesome alternatives out there. I love jergens and fake bake tanning liquid. Take the time now before summer gets here to experiment with applying it. Its really very easy and you ll save your skin from all the damage!

Um I don't recommend getting a natural tan like from the sun because that leads to sunburn but I do recommend bronze you know like a spray tan. Sorry that's all I could think of. I hope it helps.:)

Definitely don't turn to tanning beds or laying out. You can and will burn. If you're as pale as you say you are, tanning by an UV rays will be a pain, literally! Jergens gradual moisturizer is a nice way to get natural-looking color.
