I do it every 3 weeks in summer, I never use wax, sugaring has always been my go to method for hair removal, it's great and by time I can tell you my hair definitely decreased, it's not thick as it used to be and you never get ingrown hairs so I highly recommend it :)

Also it's not harsh on your skin as waxing!
hope this helps :)

It's basically sugar, lemon & water, put in a pot and heat till it melts then let it cool and start using, you can also keep it in the fridge and whenever you need it just pop in microwave for 30 sec to a minute and it will be good to use :)

Hi Alya, what are the measurements for this recipe? Tia x

Alya A.
@Trace S.
You’ll need:
2 cups of regular granulated sugar
1/4 cup of water (some people use distilled water, but tap water is just fine
1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (remove seeds).
Preparation:
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Start with heating the mix up on low temperature, until the bubbles start showing up. Using the thermometer make sure the mix has reached 250°F. When this happens, take it off and pour into the previously prepared container. Let the mix cool down. Make sure the mix has cooled enough so it doesn’t burn you. Using the dull knife spread the mix in the direction of hair growth.
Place the cotton strip, press with your fingers a bit and then pull in the direction opposite the hair growth.

I tried to make this today and it was an epic fail. The first time I burned it, the second time I got it stuck to my counter, the third time I got it stuck in a plastic dish, and my fourth attempt (Lol) I almost got it right but I think I took it off too soon. It did remove hair but it got really hard and kept getting stuck under my nails. If you try to do this I highly suggest getting a Candy Terminator. Cause I'm getting one tomorrow. ugh
Here's the recipe/technique I had the most luck with
