What's a henna tint? Gosh..I live in a small town and this app is literally the only place I learn stuff about beauty.  Haa.

Henna is an Indian powder that, depending on the kind you choose, can give your hair a really pretty reddish tint. It can be subtle and I honestly find it really pretty.

Oh and you can get it at Whole Foods. I'm not sure where else though.

You can also get henna at Lush. Be aware that using henna to dye your hair means that if you don't like it you are stuck until it grows out; adding color on top of it or trying to take it out is unpredictable and uneven. Most professional colorists won't touch hair that has been henna dyed because of this.

Emily is very right! Though it can give beautiful color, and is more natural you should keep in mind unless you cut it or grow it out, you will probably have it for a while. If you don't want blonde, you can always have a high/low light put in just a couple shades lighter/darker depending on your base color. I'd suggest very finely weaved sections, it will have a softer effect and break it up just enough to add the dimension your looking for. Also if you'd like something a little more dramatic you could do the same high/low lights in a violet / red.
