I was the same red not long ago. You need to go to a salon and bleach your hair, you then pick the red you want (mine was corvette red but I used red fudge color)
Red is hard to maintain so you need to have money and be able to always re do it :)
Hope this was a little helpful x

If you want to do it at home ,, you'll have to bleach it until it goes blonde and wait until the next day to dye it red a box dye would do fine that's how I did mine and my hair was bright red there's a picture on my profile if you would like to view it :)

Thank you so much for the help. What kind of bleach works best? And that doesn't turn your hair to straw.

I had my hair that color red and I used ion lightener from Sally's. it worked well and didn't damage my hair. Although I should warn you, red is really difficult to maintain. The color fades pretty quickly and it is also a pain in the ass to get out if you want to go back to medium brown

Leave manic panic on for 2-3hrs. it contains no amonia. its not your regular hair dye. so there is no damage to your hair. its just a semi perm dye so your red can last a little bit longer. always wash hair with cold water if you want it to last a bit longer. and you can also add some manic panic red in your conditioner so you can deposit some red everytime you wash your hair.
