Use the lowest volume developer you can and add a little conditioner to the mixture and watch the foils close

Okay, no offense, but it seems like everyone's acting like if you put bleach on your hair it'll fall out. I bleached my hair before, as long as you seriously deep condition your hair afterwards you'll be fine.

Bleaching is not as bad as everyone is making it sound. I agree with Dorothea. As long as you don't continually put bleach upon bleach, you will be fine. My whole top of my head is very blonde and I used bleach. So your ends shouldn't become damaged. Find a nice deep conditioner if you're afraid :)

You do not need to bleach it to get ombré! All that will happen is that it won't be platinum blonde it'll be like a light caramel color.

I don't know...I've been bleaching highlights in my hair since forever and it hasn't made a difference...just use a conditioner afterward!
