Someone said the concealer (sorry about spelling can't get it ryt) it should b 2 shades lighter than your skin colour,is this true?

I think that depends on where you wanna put concealer. I believe for under your eyes you should go 2 shades lighter, so it will light everything up and make your dark circles go away. But when I use concealer on the rest of my face, I just use my skin colour colour(that sounded strange:p)

Sounds about right. half a shade, to two shades up. I think what is more important is the tone of concealer. Orange or yellow etc!. that helps in preventing that ghostly look. it also depends on what your concealing also. try the link below! http://www.stylelist.com/read/find-your-perfect-concealer-shade/

The only reason for concealer to be any different than your foundation is for correcting dark circles or redness. Otherwise it can be the same color or no more than one shade difference.
