I'm guessing its a "sock bun scruchie"? You put your hair in a ponytail then put that on your ponytail and wrap your hair into that scrunchie. To make like a bun.

Use it as if it was a ridiculously large bobble and then spread the hair around it, secure with a bobble and pin in any excess hair around the doughnut with bobby pins. If I'm making no sense then have a quick look at some YouTube tutorials:)

OMG these are so cool! So you put your hair into a high pony then you put that @ the base. Arrange your hair around it so it isn't showing then put a second elastic over it! Easy!
