The Hawaiian tropic tanning oil is pretty good with helping you get and keep colour. Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure and than add a SPF 30-60 to all sensitive areas, after those 15 mins let the sun do its thaaaang.
Good luck, have fun and I hope this helps (:

Well on Gypsy Sisters they used engine oil and it worked really well but that's frowned upon (is it bad if I still want to try it 😬)
I really like Banana Boat oil because of the smell, and it works as good as any other I've tried. Have fun on your vacation! Take me with you 😘

I use the Vaseline Vitalizing Body Oil Gel...I like it because it is like baby oil in a gel form. I usually apply Hawaiian tropic lotion...from Walmart and then the oil gel and voila! Cooked like a brown biscuit. 8)

Australian Gold makes really good dark tanning oils and they also make dry oil too for the people who don't like the feeling of the regular tanning oil. I've used them my whole life and they work great. They also have an awesome after tan lotion that I use every day even if I'm not in the sun
