Would a tattoo of my name in Arabic be cheesy? I'm not trying to be cocky and write my own name, it's just forever a part of me; like a tattoo.

Hm.. Your body!

I wouldn't do your first name. I'd do last so it wouldn't look like you're all about you, like the family name or something? If that makes sense.

But what if you get married @ramsey p.

If you want it go for it :) personally I wouldn't do it, but it's your choice :)

Well, last name may not change. And even if it does, it will still always be your original name. The one you were given at birth. The connection will always be there. I think it's a little overdone, but if you ACTUALLY like it, go for it. Tattoos are for showing off your creativity.

Personally I'm not a fan of name tattoos at all, but depending on where you live if its in Arabic nobody will know what it says anything and it would probably just look like pretty writing.

I guess it could change, but it's the name you were born with, you'd always be linked to it. @Amaris A.

What rachel said! Youre going to be the one who looks at it everyday. I have three and they're all unique to ME. If you want to get go for it!

Personally, I think a tattoo of your name is kind of cheesy considering its something that you're not going to forget. Maybe go for a word that describes the meaning of your name or something that describes you?

Who cares if it's cheesy or not? It's YOUR body so do what you want.

If you like it and think it'll look nice, get it! To be honest if you don't tell anyone most people won't know that it's your name anyway.

Ozzy Osbourne has his name on his hands just in care he forgets who he is. so if he can get his own name why can't you?

Cara delevine tattoed her initials in the side of her hand, I think it looked pretty cool. She posted a picture of it on instagram, check it...

Just make sure you get the translation double checked before you ink it permanently. I have friends who for whatever reason all decided to get what they thought was kanji for "loyalty" and ended up roughly equating to "fish monger" (my cousin, whom is Japanese, translated). Now they are stuck with that permanently on their bodies because they didn't do their research first.
