Why can't people just be nice..?
Like the ask section of beautylish is about getting people's opinions/thoughts on things (looks, products, styles, clothes, etc...) so if it bothers you that someone asks what hairstyle looks best, or which profile picture someone should use, or what dress someone should wear to graduation then ignore that post, and post/answer questions that you think are good enough/ appropriate for the 'ask' section..
I think it's ridiculous for people to criticize others on an site/app that should be friendly and a happy environment..
I also don't see the point in calling people out for posting a picture more than once, and for 'fishing for compliments'.. Like some people just have a low self esteem, and feel better about themselves when they get compliments from others..
Build others up! Don't tear them down! Rant over. Bye, dolls. 💋

I couldnt agree more, everyone has an opinion but the way you put it across is important and putting people down isnt helpful we should all be encouraging and supporting each other as women. I can't stand it when I see comments like "your ugly" its not constructive and there is absolutely no need for it, these type of people shouldn't be allowed to use this app at all x

Exactly Kari! :) I just haaaaaate giving compliments if I feel I am being asked to. Feedback however, is a diifferent matter. No hassles there. I just get frustrated with the mean-spirited or really vain posts.

I agree we should not put each other down but also I see people asking questions for help and some questions that are asked are things someone wants to know as in advice or something like that and some of those are being ignored while posts about how someone looks have a tone of comments.

I also think they should be a section for advice that's not in with all the post on looks and style that's just for advice nothing else it would probably help some of the girls on here that just want advice. but putting each other down is wrong and should not happen but on any social network that is expected. can we beauties get along and loose the hate we are all beautiful in our own way and beauty is in the eye of the beholder so us ladies need to celebrate the differences and try to uplift all of the girls on here instead of putting people down. good luck to all the beauties.

Kari, it's not healthy for someone with low self esteem to use people on the internet to raise their self esteem. We are more than that. I don't agree with comments saying someone is "ugly" BUT if you're asking for opinions, you're going to get opinions. You're not going to get opinions that you absolutely like, but whose fault is that? Not theirs. If your posting a picture just to get compliments, people will get annoyed and they will call you out. It's not always a matter of being "nice." It's a matter of being able to call out the BS that some people post. It's cool that you don't "insult" people, but by essentially saying that the people who call someone out are mean - you're kinda doing just that.
