Ok beauties here is my dilemma!... I currently wear a heap of makeup, I'm on the wrong side of 25 but still below 30, I have been wearing makeup since I was 16... It has got past the stage of me wearing it to look beautiful its more of a route and the 'norm' of how I actually look! My skin isn't too bad but is pale and I think with the right tanner instant and long lasting I would ditch my makeup... Can anyone help I'm sick of wasting hours everyday on something which is frankly not important in my life! I think I need a tanner face to make me look more like what I'm used to when I pile on the makeup! I've tried bb cream but that's not for me I like a full coverage so tanning is what I think I need... Help me ditch my foundation and save hours a day!! My life is passing me by in front of a mirror! :) xxxxxx any advice or anyone who has ditched there makeup please comment! Xx

I agree with you that being tan is your answer to not having to wear a ton of makeup. I have been piling on makeup since I was like 12, and I'm 26 now. The only time I have ditched my makeup is when I am really tan. Then I just wear powder or concealer if I need it and mascara...etc...light makeup.

Try a spray tan. No skin cancer and you can get an all over tan

Its because when I'm tan I feel more confident like I don't have to pile on the "mask" to be beautiful ;)

Thank you for your replies ladies :) aubrie what ran do you use?
Thank you Tirana I will purchase some tomorrow. Oh grace I can't do spray tan it doesn't work with me and I could think of nothing worse then standing there in front of someone getting one done!
Totally agree I want to ditch my "mask" I just want to feel like what I did before I decided makeup was the best option!! If only we knew back then what we know now! Xxx

Wow sarah your in a real dillemma...my only advice would be to gradually take something you don't need away..If its gotten to the point that you are relying on makeup or its taking up too much of your time than try looking @ some of the 5 min makeup videos on Youtube...Makeup is suppose to enhance not cover up...Hope this helps loveurself cuz you are beautiful:)

What do you mean when you say spray tan doesn't work for you? All self tanners or just the spray tan kind?

I don't wear foundations I wear BB creams. I know you stated you don't like BB creams. So my next recommendation would be Tinted moisturizer & bronzer. You can also go with just powder & a concealer :-)

My gosh aubrie that tan is flawless! Money well spent! Last time I got a spray tan it didn't work I looked orange and it looked streaky and I was very disappointed as I had to go out in public looking awful so I have never spray tanned again but maybe I should bite the bullet and try again?!?! The only self tanner I have had is the st tropez but I find the body and face tan streaky :( I have tried another product I can't remember what it was called but it was a great self tanner apart from after applying I smelt beefy!
I will definitely see about the playboy glitz tan.
Grace I think the problem with being pale and proud is although my skin is relevantly good It isn't flawless, I've always used makeup to cover my flaws and am looking for something to replace my makeup to still make me feel and look like me, no makeup and going pale just makes me look well not like the person I'm used to looking at! Makeup is on all my waking moments! :(

I am sorry about your friend I have never been a sun bed person I normally embrace the rest of my paleness and normally just top up with self tanner just to give a little bit of colour, but I couldn't bare to "bare" and leave the house without looking normal that's why I'm after help with it :) I have looked for the playboy glitz spray tan but can only find it in self tanning?! Xx

@Lourdes and @Sarah...You can find Playboy Glitz sunless products for sale online...The tanning Salon I got mine done at is privately owned so they just choose what airbrush solution they want. But you can get the Playboy Glitz online. You won't be sorry either. Its awesome. You really get your moneys worth. Also, my friend who died of cancer didnt get it from tanning...it started in her nose and spread throughout her body and bones. It just scared me into not using a sun bed anymore tho, because she was only 28 and married w 4 children and had to leave all of them behind...I only have one son who is 3 but I want to be around for when he grows up. I actually have some black moles and weird looking moles that I'm going to get checked at the dermatologist on June 10th
