You should try to wash your brushes every day. You can get cleaners for them at your local drugstore or online :)

Mascara should last about 4-6 months, if your lip gloss gets to a very thick consistency then I advise you don't use it, make sure you close all packaging properly so bacteria doesn't get to it. That's all I got hahaha, sorry!

Okay so a fact about mascara you are never supposed to come your mascara in the bottle before you say you're probably wondering why it is because once error gets into the tube it gives more room for bacteria to grow so don't pump it!!
For washing your makeup brushes I tried two different ways but this is the way that ICO got the cleanest for my brushes you take lukewarm water coming out of your faucet plate regular Haninsou on your hand swish around the brushing your handmixer you sent in the Warmwater together and just watch all the make up come out pat dry and let it sit out in air dry for a while! You should also wash your brushes every week or once every two weeks this will keep your brushes Healthier whites you wash off bacteria you Wash off bacteria therefore bacteria won't be on your face anymore!
Lastly not so much a hygiene tip but just a tip for applying powder when you put your powder on your brush make sure you tap it to get the excess off otherwise you'll have fallout on your face this goes with eyeshadow or anything else with powdery things like blush highlighter etc.
