You should go to Ulta and get the Redken coloring services there.
My mom has dark brown hair and she wanted to go a light copper brown and the product got her hair without bleaching. Plus Redken doesn't damage your hair as bad as the In the box products.

So, don't bleach it !! Too much damage !

Use Manic Panic and leave it in for like 4 hours. When I dyed my hair(I did green,teal and purple) the lady at sallys whose hair was fire engine red told me to ise manic panic because its semi perminant and its not really a dye its more like a stain! It really works! I don't think you would have to bleach your hair. <3.
