I no what you mean but I have no idea why me my mom and mu sister use to get it at the same time my mom even use to get our period pains for us yay lol but even at school my friends and I all got it pretty much the same time untill we wen on the pill.

The same thing happens to me. And I'm in color guard with about 30 girls so yea don't want to be around us on out time of the month! Lol but my mom said that if your around the other girl a lot your periods try to catch up and be the same time

Pheromones are basically a substance secreted by the body that act as a biological communication system between beings of the same species (so, dog pheromones have no effect on humans). There are different types of pheromones, including sex pheromones, which researchers think are part of what makes us attracted to people. In animals, pheromones are secreted when one is at an appropriate stage to mate, signaling to other animals (again, of the same species), that mating would most likely conclude in procreation.
Period synchronization is thought to act under the same signaling principle. Women on their periods secrete different amounts of pheromones because of the hormone fluctuations that happen during menstruation. The theory is that when other women detect these pheromones, the pheromones cause their menstrual cycles to shorten slightly. When this happens over long periods of time, eventually the cycles will sync. However, the research on this has had conflicting results. There is no solid proof that synchronization actually happens. Remember ladies, one example of synchronization doesn't prove a theory, it only gives one example!

Ok!! This is just too weird!! I thought I happens only to me😱 once I slept at the same bed with my friend and she had her period at the morning I got I too! A week earlier!! My n my friend think that period is infectious lol;)

It's supposedly that women in groups' cycles correlate with the most 'dominant' female's cycle. At least that's what I've been told.
