You can use lemon to naturally make hair lighter but it doesn't work 100% of the time.

Yes somebody posted a thread about their experience with it not too long ago. She said she used a teaspoon of olive oil
A couple tablespoons of honey and
Some shampoo. She applied the mixture all over her head and sat in the sun to dry it.

Coconut oil! It's like a miracle. 3 tbsp in a mug, melt 5 seconds in microwave, and massage all through out your hair. Let it sit for 25 minutes and wash out with shampoo and conditioner. Do once a week or once a month depending on how long you want your hair to grow.

I use Sun-In, and it works really well for me! you spray some on damp hair, and you can either blow dry or, or go sit out in the sun and let the sun dry it. (The sun works best because it lightens more as it dries, also you can get a nice tan in at the same time ;)..) Also, it has a nice beachy smell, so overall its just a really great product and its definitely something I am always stocked up on for summer! Hope this helps :)

Oops, I forgot to mention that it's not really a home remedy, but they sell it at drugstores, so its pretty convenient, and works really well.
