From what I can see in the picture your break out is not that bad. I know from personal experiences of an acne prone face and have been living with it for 10 + years. I have tried nearly every product the market currently offers and I can just tell you what has finally worked for me. I still have issues next too my ears cause of headsets, but I can say my face is about 95% cleared.
First two things are not products but more behavioral. 1. Started to drink a lot of water. I still have a few coffees during the day but no other drinks with sugar. I also found energy drinks made my skin spaz out, I mean pimple sprouting from pimple, so energy drinks, no go, lol. 2. I don't know if this is going to be as difficult for you as it was me, but touching the face. Either your fingers or someone else's. I even started sleeping on my back so my pillow wasn't buried in my face and my skin could breathe. I constantly fiddled or popped things on my face so it took awhile but eventually I got out of the habit.
Now for products, I should say I wash my face twice a day morn and night, but I only use an exfoliant once every other day. For that I use St Ives apricot scrub for blemish prone skin. I don't exfoliate everyday because when I did I broke out even more, it was bad, comparable to 3 energy drinks. Idk why this is just what happened, lol.
So morning I use spectro Jel, the blue bottle as my cleanser, then to moisturize clean and clear dual action moisturizer. This has salicylate acid in it too, which is awesome! After that's all said and done I use a benzoyl peroxide cream. I use to use the one from clean and clear which is fantastic product, but then experimented with the cheaper life brand clear action. I wanted to save a little cash because honestly, acne is the most expensive nuisance, no jokes, anyways what I'm trying to say is the two worked the same. The life brand does hide better under make up though I will say that. Also speaking of makeup make sure your foundation is oil free, that's why I stick with cover girl for foundation, no oil.
Alright fast track to night.
Simple enough I use the same spectro and moisturizer, but this is the time I take care of the fresh breakouts if any, but most important THE SCARS OF PIMPLES PAST!!
I found an awesome product for this, again clear and clear, it's the advantage mark treatment. It's not the cheapest ho on the block, but it is so worth it! I really noticed a difference after a week of using it, redness, scars, pimple sizes, all fading away, I love this stuff, it really made me more confident about my skins.
This skin care routine is the results of years and years of experimentation until I ended up with combination of products that worked for me. Don't be afraid to try different things because your skin could have better luck with different brands. I know what your going through hun, I've lived it, fight the good fight! Pimples will not win, you will, a battle to the bitter end, lol

Haha thank you sooooo much! I have used clean and clear spot treatment ( benzoyl peroxide thing) and I put it all over my face , causing a chemical burn type of thing. I'll never do that again, I just use aveeno clear complexion, aloe vera plant, and moisturizer. Thankz again Cecililia.

This is going to be a long post but this worked amazingly for me. I'm acne free and my face isn't disgustingly greasy, and all the products are cheap and easily found at Walmart!
I had suffered from acne and a terrible oil slick for a face for years. I keep seeing posts about people asking advice on good makeup for oily skin, how to be rid of oily skin, how to treat acne etc. This is a routine that‘s worked for me. I‘ve had acne since I first got my period at 12. I‘m 21 now and I‘ve been free of acne for over 2 months and my skin is perfectly balanced, to the point my drugstore makup lasts through work and hours afterwards. Let‘s get started.
AM
-I rinse my face with cold water and tap it dry.
- I apply my moisturizer (spectro jel moisturizer for combo skin, Walmart $9)
-My usual primer and makeup is applied (Hard Candy primer $5 Walmart, Maybelline Fit Me Foundation/concealer/powder each $7 Walmart)
Good for the day :D
PM
-Remove all makeup with basic moisturizing soap (Dove, Neutrogena etc)
-Cleanse face with a good cleanser (Spectro Jel cleanser for Blemish prone skin, $9- $11 Walmart)
(- Extra step: once or twice weekly I exfoliate LIGHTLY with St.Ives Blemish and blackhead clearing Apricot scrub, $5 Walmart)
-Pat face dry
-Apply macademia nut oil to face, let sink in for 3-5 min ( Sold in large vials, $2.50 Walmart)
-Apply same moisturizer as used in AM (spectro jel moisturizer for combo skin).
If your acne is especially bad, I recommend Spectro jel deep pore vanishing lotion ($6 Walmart) with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. It will make some areas unusually dry (mine was around the mouth) so moisturizing is especially important here, as over dryness can affect acne even more. (Again, some people work better with Salicylic Acid than Benzoyl peroxide, so try a few products similar and see which one works for you)
SCIENCE
Your skin is oily because it‘s dry (Backwards, I know.) You washed away all the good stuff and now it‘s overcompensating by producing more oil. Replacing your moisture not only with a good moisturizer but Macademia nut oil (which is similar to the stuff our skin produced as children for soft, supple cute faces) balances your skin and in turn will help reduce your acne, since you‘re treating one of the main factors that causes pimples. (reminder : Forehead acne is usually due to stress, Cheeks and nose is usually due to diet and Chin area is most likely hormonal [also most difficult to treat in most cases].
In the end everything is relatively cheap (I used proactiv before and not only did that NOT work but it was expensive.) The cleanser bottle is huge and lasted me months for little $$$. I use less makeup because my skin is clear. The products last a long time and even though I‘m on a super tight budget since I don‘t live at home, I can easily afford and find everything at Walmart.
Good luck, and sorry for the long post! <3
