If a base it can be neutral to color from cream to powder to intensify the color..Mac paint pot would be a good base too.or even just an eyeshadow that's light.primer would help with creasing make the surface smooth the ladies above have good suggestions but make sure your eyelids are not to dry, add an eye cream.I myself didn't like the Nyx base.

Wet n Wild take the day primer from the Fergie collection is fantastic. My eyeshadow does not budge!! I like it better than UDPP, and it's 1/4 the price
