Clear Mascara And Gel What's The Difference?

Don't want to get in trouble for wearing mascara to school so I thought I might get some clear mascara. So I went hunting for clear mascara and saw it "finally" but then right next to it was gel mascara. Ok! Now I am confused so what is the difference between clear mascara and gel mascara?

I'm not sure what gel mascara is but I tried clear mascara before and it's pretty much like putting water on your eyelashes so I wouldn't waste your money in it I'd suggest getting the gel one and just see what it does.

When I was 12 I wanted to try makeup out so bad so my older sister got me gel mascara and it worked good (I use reg. mascara now) it made my lashes a lil' longer and I also used it to keep my brows in place. But I have never used clear mascara but it doesn't sound as good. Look it up on Google (:
