So this is my story I am a 17-year-old half black half white girl and all my life I was told that straight hair was more presentable and made you look attractive, My grandma put me through perms, relaxers ,weaves and everything for four years to the point where my hair fell out n broke off, it went from long in beautiful to a above my shoulders n choppy , I been perm, relaxer n weave free for a year and a half now and I now use clip in hair extensions instead. I'm trying to get my hair back to health and even though I stopped doing all that to my hair I still kept my hair straight all the time and I always wore my extensions, a few days ago I decided that I'm gnna stop trying to be someone I'm not and go natural, I haven't straightened my hair or put in my extensions in over a week:)

I don't really know how to help. But it takes a lot for a girl to go natural. Your gorgeous with or without make up and.extensions. In the end ppl won't remember you as the girl with pretty hair. its the inside that counts. I hope you a solution for your problem!good luck:)

Use a nourishing shampoo and conditioner and a hair mask once or twice a week. That will restore the lost moisture and make your hair stronger. straightening is still okay as long as you use a heat protection treatment, but I would say try a mousse to make your hair more managable and define the curls a little.

YOU. ARE. GORGEOUS (: (:
I have very curly hair too, I straightened it for three years everyday. Most people didn't even know I had curly hair until I started wearing it natural last month haha. I'm trying to get mine healthy again too :)
Try olive oil, aloe vera, and coconut oil, they all make your hair feel healthy again much quicker :)
