I've seen some post about washing your face with coconut oil. I would love to try it but just want to know what you do? I sound a little silly asking how but just want to get an idea. Thanks.

The way I do it is slather on the oil and massage into my face like I normally would with any other face wash. Then I put a hot wash cloth on and let it cool, then simply wipe off. Some remains but you don't break out. Trust me normally I have oily skin so I was afraid to try but it works wonders!! The redness has faded and my skin is soft and glowy.

I agree with T L. To avoid any left over I swipe my face with witchhazel. Lake my skin soft!

Witch hazel or cider vinegar, if you're going to use all natural

Thanks for the info!!

I haven't washed my face with it cuz I don't use water. I use wet towlettes but I use it as a moisturizer. feels great! try it. this stuff is good for everything almost.

Coconut isn't the best oil to use for OCM (oil cleansing method). You need to mix 2 types of oil together. Castor oil is used for cleansing and jojoba oil (or another oil of your choice) is best as the carrying oil. You need to try different ratios to find what's best for your skin. Since castor oil is the cleaning oil, too much can dry the skin. I use 2 parts Castor oil to 8 parts jojoba oil, as my skin is fairly dry. Steam your face several times with a face cloth to open the pores and wipe your face clean. Google OCM and you will find lots of info.
