Hello! I have a pretty complicated situation with my hair currently, and I'm desperately trying to get this green out of my hair.
I dyed my hair green back in December and I've been trying to get rid of it for months. I have been trying to fade it out but it kinda just stubbornly stuck at a light green and won't go any lighter.
I got sick of waiting and a few weeks ago I used a black box dye on my hair. My hair turned slightly black but also like dark blue-ish color due to the green, I kept it like this up until today. (Also, the black/blue was fading and I could see the green peeking out again, ugh)
So today I decided that I was going to try and lighten my hair as best as I could before getting the chance to go to the salon to professionally bleach it. I mixed vitamin-C and shampoo, applied it to my hair for about 2 hours (thinking nothing was going to happen), washed it out and my hair is now very very light! I am actually happy with the muddy, light brown hair color it left but unfortunately the green is peeking out again.
Is there any way to get rid of the green without messing up new brown hair? If not is there anything I can do to get this green out of my hair besides bleach? From this experience, I'm never dying my hair green again. Please help! 😰

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE please please get a product called Color Oops. I used it to get the color out of my hair so I could go Vintage teal, which I hate, it turned a dingy green-grey. I am doing it again today, I'll keep you posted. I also have very fine hair, and Color Oops stinks like hell but it did not damage my hair at all, and worked way better than bleach. It takes 40 minutes (20 to process, 20 to rinse) and voila! The color is gone, no damage at all. Ready to color the same day. Its seriously a miracle for fine hair.
P.s. Don't bleach your hair unless you are prepared to go short. I went pixie, and it is super cute, and I can play with colors and keep my hair healthy.
