I'm in need of a product (s) that will help w/ my acne scarring and redness all over my cheeks. I've purchased a PMD as well and I've used it for one week and will continue to use it, but with that I also want a moisturizer/serum or anything that will aid with the process of getting rid of acne scars, and bringing down the redness in my cheeks during the day. Thanks for any help!
(Note: I have oily,sensitive skin)

Do you have a lot of indentations in the skin or is it mostly just pigmented red marks? Hard to tell from the picture and that will help explain what you can do going forward.

Definitely not indented like I know what is usually the case w/ acne scarring. Mine are just pigmented red marks but they never go away...

Are you still breaking out? Also, what products are you currently using?

I would highly recommend adding (if you aren't already) adding some good leave on exfoliants into your routine. AHA's and BHA's are your best friends when it comes to pigmentation, texture, and scar issues. My favorite that is budget friendly is the Alpha Skin Care Dual Action Lightener with 10% Glycolic Acid. Paula's Choice also makes some wonderful leave on exfoliants as well. Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Serum is great but more expensive. Just be sure to start slow if you haven't used them before.
I'm torn on the PMD. I have one but it seems to do more pulling and surface exfolation but doesn't really get deep down into the skin tissue.

Chemical exfoliants such as aha and Bha really are great! I started off with the Nip and Fab extreme glycolic pads 5%, then moved onto the ordinary glycolic 7% and using the 30%aha +2%bha mask weekly. I also have a bottle of 2%BHA from Paula's choice. I originally got these to help with hyperpigmentation (dark or red marks) which they really do help! But they also help with any hormonal acne and removing any dead skin cells which traps bacteria which leads to more spots thus overall reducing the amount to spots I get.

Okay, thank you all so much!! I will definitely look into purchasing those!

They’ve made some great recommendations, but you also need to use spf 30+ everyday. Cumulative sun damage triggers the same melanocytes that cause red marks after you get acne.

Okay, thank you for letting me know-Do you know of any sunscreens that won't break me out or won't "peel" on the face instead of actually sinking in? As that's the case w/ every sunscreen I've tried so far

Pilling and peeling is often a matter of product interactions combined with the process of massaging the sunscreen into your face.
Avoid layering too many products that contain silicones and silicone derivatives (dimethicone, silicone, cyclopentasiloxane, etc). I also always apply sunscreen by spreading with fingers while it's still fresh then patting as it dries down to finish blending, almost like how you would dab with a beauty blender/sponge.
I enjoy the Paula's Choice Resist Super Light SPF 30. It doesn't break me out personally, but it's also important to note that everybody has a different reaction to sunscreen actives. I generally prefer zinc oxide when it comes to formulas on the US market because my skin is quite sensitive, but am currently in the testing process for a few chemical based sunscreens from Korea/Japan.
Your routine should be up to par if you are worried about future breakouts from sunscreen, that most likely includes incorporating one of the BHA chemical exfoliants that were mentioned earlier.
