so I started off with a dark brown hair. yesterday I used a box lightener (bad idea, it barely worked) to lighten my hair in hopes of achieving a blonde (see pic). I stupidly did my roots first, which leaves me with lighter roots. Then , today I used an actual developer and bleach powder to re do my hair, in hopes of matching the bottom to the top. currently I have very blonde roots and light ginger bottoms. I tried toning but it didn't do anything. I have to wear a beanie everywhere :( I am hoping someone could give me advice on how I could fix this! also, please don't tell me to go to a hairdresser, I have and they were not help. I don't have the money to get it fixed at a salon. I am thinking of leaving my hair to sit for a week or so, using masks and treatments to keep up moisture , and then try again? I'm so embarrassed at how bad it is , and I'll deeply appreciate any advice!

Give your hair some time to relax. Use good deep conditioning treatments for about 3x a week. Sometimes the color fades. After two weeks you could go to an beauty shop. I'm from germany, so I can't recommend any, but here we have stores from hairdressers where you can buy hair dye and get some help. Maybe you have some store like this? A good hairdresser should always help you, at an salon or an shop. I hope I could help you a little bit! And let me know if you could fix it! :)
