So I've been using a minimal skincare routine for a few weeks now but I don't know if it's too minimal for skin type. I have mild acne and rosacea as well as dry skin.

Morning skincare routine:
- cerave hydrating cleanser
- Paula's choice recovery toner
- Paula's choice recovery moisturiser with Spf

Night time skincare rountine:
- hydromol oinment (I only use a small amount of this, and I use a tiny amount on my driest areas which are around my nose, chin and eyes)
- Paula's choice recovery toner
- I switch between the Paula's choice intense recovery mask and cetraben as an extra bit of moisturiser.

Is there something more you're looking for in your routine?
I have dry skin with mild acne as well, and I keep my routine rather simple.

I didn't know whether to add an AHA/BHA. I used to use my foreo luna device but it made my rosacea stand out more even though it helped massively for my dry skin. I don't know whether to add that back in or not.

You should first ask yourself if your current routine is working for you! If not I would suggest incorporating some natural ingredients to your daily routine because sometimes beauty products can be very harsh on your skin..I've learned that the hard way!

Paula's Choice has a product line called 'Calm Redness Relief' aimed towards dry, extra sensitive skin. I've used it and it worked wonderful. My skin burns with CeraVe in terms of sensitivity so I am careful about what I apply on it.
BHA's helped calm my redness but you do need to start little by little and be responsible for protecting your skin. For roscea, I've read recommendations from various sources to avoid use of any harsh manual exfoliants. I personally do not consider the Luna harsh but if your skin is telling you to stop I would stop. The dryness can be taken care of with a good moisturizer and BHA that won't make it worse.. just remember to start little by little and pay attention to what your skin responds well to.

If the Luna is increasing redness it's absolutely fine to turn down the vibration intensity. If you find even that doesn't work then by all means cut it from your routine.

At first glance the one thing I want to insert is a BHA product. You're already on the Paula's Choice bandwagon; I can personally vouch for their BHA products of you haven't tried them yet. They actually make a 1% formulation in their Calm line which may be perfect for you.

I also really like their body spray on my face, which sounds weird but it totally works for a salicylic acid product.

Thank you both so much! I thought I was pressing down too hard with my Luna as I tend to be quite rough which I'm also trying to work on.

I will make sure to check out the products :)
