That looks like hormonal or cystic acne which is not easy to treat - I've had this acne before and it took a long time to get rid of it and I'm still left with scars from it and once in a while I still get some cystic bumps during my monthly cycle - I would suggest you see a dermatologist to get some prescriptions to treat it - but what has worked for me in the past is just overall being more conscious of my health and stress since that acne seems to flare up when my hormones are going crazy - if I try to maintain a healthy diet and avoid food allergens (I'm lactose intolerant) then that has helped as well as exercising and doing yoga to relieve stress - once you have that under control you can also try topical treatments but understand this acne takes a long time to heal and products can only speed up the healing process - things that have worked for me (aside from getting into a routine of using a cleanser, toner, spot treatment and moisturizer) were tea tree oil products - they reduce redness and help to reduce the size of large pimples - also the buffering lotion by Mario badescu was helpful for getting rid of under the surface bumps that don't come to a head - as well as their drying and healing masks (alternate using each once a week) to dry out pimples and then also help the healing process - and while these products may or may not help you - seeing a derm will really be your best bet to quickly and efficiently treat the acne instead of trying to figure out what works or doesn't work for you on your own

This may be a weird method but have you tried aspirin? I've tried it and it worked for me...you should make sure your not alergic first.
Crush 4 – 5 aspirin tablets finely and put the powder in a bowl.
Then add 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt (or honey or water or aloe vera gel) to it.
Stir well to make a fine paste and apply it on the acne affected skin areas.
Let it sit for few minutes to get dry and rinse off with water.
Dry the area gently and repeat it twice daily till you get relief from acne.

I also agree with Diana T about seeing your dermatologist!
