What is your price point? Are you sensitive or acne prone in any way?

I'd like to keep it under $40 if possible.
And a bit sensitive! Not acne prone

Paula's Choice has a Resist Super Light which is fantastic, slightly luminous, tinted finish that blends beautifully and it has added anti-aging, which is a plus. This won't cling to dry patches and although it is moisturizing, it'still light on the skin and leaves a lovely, natural glow. This will pair well with foundation and powders if you want to take any glow down. Many SPF products do not pair well with foundations or powders and so that's a great option to consider. I'll link it below so you can read the customer reviews and see if that's something you'd like. (Nordstrom carries Paula, but her website has 15% today with free shipping. Dermstore often also has sales.

If you wear a lot of matte looks, or have quite a bit of serious oil that gathers in certain areas that really needs absorption, Paula's Choice Skin Balancing SPF is nice, but it is not tinted. (It is white-based so you need to permit time for absorption.)
Elta MD has a lovely moisturizing SPF (both in tinted and non-tinted) that also should work well for your skin type. These should all great with sensitive skin.
It really will depend on your finish of choice, and what color your want your base.
My best advice for combo skin is always that you just use a moisturizer laoded with skin benefits and no SPF, such as CeraVe PM (in the pump) which makes a killer base for foundation and will work if you powder...and then hit the face with Dr. Gross Mineral Sunscreen Spray. It's fantastic, long wearing, works with every skin type, and you can touch-up without disturbing your make-up. (I keep a tiny bit that I replenish in a bottle in my purse.)

The last would be my choice for you if I had to chose 1 skin-care, sun protection routine for you, but all of the options offer something wonderful. The spray is $42, but it so flexible in its use and you can touch up easily over a full-face of make-up or on the go, so that's a bonus. You can also put whatever moisturizers you have in your drawer that don't have SPF to use, and later pick up CeraVe PM if you want to give that a try. It is SO affordable at the drugstore and great in the eye area..it strengthens skin and replenishes moisture with no oil. There are always sales with buy 1 get 1 50% and there's a $2 off coupon on CeraVe's website.
This routine would cover all the bases with a ton of skin benefits. The spray is also water resistant and holds up under insane humidity and perspiration, including outdoor exercise. If you sign up for Dermstore's mailing list (which you can unsubscribe to later) you can grab it for 20 percent off, which brings you below the $40 mark. I believe shipping is free. I actually just ordered some because it is forever sold out. Dermstore has a points program if you want to create an account for future benefits.

Hope that helps!

The Paula's Choice Resist Super Light SPF 30 is one of my staples. I occasionally mix it with a liquid mineral SPF like the Neutrogena Pure and Free SPF 50 if I want to spike it while making the consistency even thinner.
The tint it has is meant to offset the natural white cast of the zinc oxide, but I find it slightly brightens/evens my skin tone without looking like you're adding coverage. It's really quite nice, though if you have especially dry patches I recommend using a separate moisturizer on those areas prior to application. It sets beautifully with powder in my t-zone and plays well with makeup.
