Hello :) I have really pale skin so keeping it clear is really difficult for me. Since it's really sensitive it likes to flare up in places and become irritated. I also recently found out that I have a really bad reaction to biotin. Which really sucks. Both my brother and I have the same problem. We both started taking supplements a few weeks ago, that had biotin in it. Mine was the hair skin and nails supplement. And it's made my skin an absolute nightmare. His has been pretty bad too because he's pretty fair skinned too. But not as bad as I am. So taking stuff like that is out of the question. I've been drinking a bunch of water to get it out of my system. And I've been keeping my face clean and using aloe Vera gel at nighttime. I've also used a mixture of honey cinnamon and lemon once or twice to cleanse it. But does anyone else have any other suggestions on what else I can do or try? Or something that's worked for them? Anything would help at this point. It's not as bad as it was. Since it's clearing up I would just like a better skin care routine to try if there is one :)

First, I highly suggest in the future to see a doctor before taking any kind of supplements.
Second, cinnamon and lemon aren't good for the skin because they both can cause damage and irritation.
Starting with the basics you should at least be using a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. What's your skin type (dry, oily, combo)?

I had actually went to the doctor about trying to find a solution to help with my skin because I'm so light and it gets irritated easily. And he was actually the one who suggested I start taking the supplement. I didn't know I would have such a bad reaction to it. We've concluded it was the biotin causing it. But we are trying to find other ways to work with my skin. And my skin is combo. For a toner the only luck I have had is something my aunt who has really sensitive skin told me to try and that was apple cider vinegar. But I would really like to find something I can buy that would work. Nothing I have found has worked :/ I've tried quite a few cleansers, and I just recently tried a moisturizer from eucerin and I end up having to wash it off because it doesn't rub into my skin and disappear like it's suppose to.. it sorta just stays. So I'm not really sure.

Would you consider yourself acne prone? Are there any red marks/hyperpigmentation you're dealing with?

I would suggest checking out the Origins Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash, Skin Laundry Balancing Antioxidant Toner, and either the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro or Caudalie VinoSource Moisturizing Sorbet.
