So I have been struggling with acne for almost 5 years and it seems I can't really make it go away. I love makeup but I hate when some products cause break out war are some cosmetics I could use when doing a full face makeup without causing more breakouts (I have oily skin)

If a prescription retinoids is not giving you noticeable results it's likely that you need to improve your routine overall.
Drop the neutrogena cleanser and grab either the foaming face wash for oily skin by CeraVe, or the Olay Gentle Clean face wash.
Grab a BHA/salicylic acid product. Paula's Choice has some great options for multiple skin types, but you can find a more universal product in the BHA power liquid by CosRX, which uses betaine salicylate.
Sunscreen everyday is non-negotiable. Cumulative sun damage makes literally everything related to skin function worse.

If your skin isn't extremely sensitive, something like the CeraVe SPF 30 daytime face lotion should be fine. If synthetic filters irritate you, then try an spf product with zinc oxide. Neutrogena just made some new ones that look good, and you can find more complex formulas from companies like Paula's Choice and Drunk Elephant.

I'll admit I used differin and it didn't work effectively enough. My dermatologist switched me to Retin A Micro and it worked better. In high school I did go on Accutane for similar acne to yours which was the first time I had smooth skin. Now I use the Stridex in the red box (salycilic acid) and am working on finding a glycolic acid peel. I agree that using a gentle face wash helps a ton. I moisturize with CeraVe PM moisturizer and that has worked wonders on my acne prone skin.
