Hi everyone!
I would like to know if anybody here has ever used indigo henna?
I've dyed my blond hair for it to be lighter 5 months ago and now I'm waiting for it to grow to get my natural color back. the only thing bothering me is that my natural hair is very cool toned whereas my died hair is very warm toned. I went to a hair dresser but she told me there was no way such a cool tone could be achieved by dying it.
so I looked for natural remedy and I stumbled upon indigo henna, hence my question! Thanks in advance

Are you looking to tone your hair or color it?

Sounds like your hair stylist doesn't know what she is talking about. your hair can easily be colored back to your natural color. if that's not what your looking for then the warm tones can be toned out of your blonde. I do it all the time :-) try another salon. I would stay away from henna. it is awful for your hair and leaves such an awful build up and residue on your hair. I've even tried to remove "henna" from hair and had it have a chemical reaction to where it heated up and started smoking! most henna you see are not legit henna dyes. they are full of metallics and other crap. Also indigo sounds like it would be black. and I'm pretty sure you don't want that.

Indigo henna would turn your hair into a dark dark blue-black!

Clara, I would set up a consultation at another salon with someone who specializes in color. tell them exactly what you want and make sure you are both on the same page :-)
