Hey how can I remove marks left by spots I break out around my monthly cycle time around 3 or 4 spots not big but when the spot goes I'm left with a black mark which is hard to cover with make up and takes a very very long time to start fading. Is there any products that can speed up the process or any d.I.y face masks I can make at home as I'm literally just fed up with it now.

Products with vitamin C will help lighten the dark spots as well as exfoliating and wearing SPF (:

The Body Shop does good vitamin C products and the FreeDerm daily exfoliator and the clearasil scrub are both amazing!! I will post a picture of them if you ask. Hope this helps:) ♡

Chemical exfoliant, preferably BHA if your breakouts still occur, vitamin C, niacinamide, spf.

I would suggest liquid vitamin e capsules that you can just cut open and place on the dark spot, that has helped my spots go away in half the time, and it helps scars too! Any brand will work fine.

There's a few things you can do to improve the appearance of acne scars, but it does take time to see results. As mentioned above, add a good Vitamin C to your skincare regimen, but be sure to select a product that will be effective. Vitamin C is highly unstable, and there are a lot of products that aren't worth a dime. Drunk Elephant makes a good, stable Vitamin C, although it's costly. Second, make sure you're using an acid toner daily. You can try Pixi Glow Tonic for something light and cheap or the best (in my opinion) is P50 lotion which you can purchase from an online spa. You can also ask your doctor for a Hydroquinolone cream to fade dark spots.
Finally, if you have a good dermatologist and live in a city that has a compound pharmacy, your doctor (or med spa) can prescribe a compound cream of Retin A, Hydroquinolone, and Vitamin C... all combined into one cream. This will serve as an all-in-1 that addresses your acne issues and dark spots/scars in one prescription cream. This is what I'm using, and it only costs me $70 for it at a compound pharmacy. If you don't have a compound pharmacy nearby, it may not be an option since it has to be refrigerated immediately to keep the Vitamin C stable. Talk to your doctor and see what options are available. This is what works well for me. Good luck!
