Hi
I'm thinking about going back to school for either an esthetician or cosmetology license. Cosmetology covers hair, skin and nails while esthetics has emphasis on skin.
My goal is to do brow waxing, microblading and lash extensions. I don't mind doing nails but I'm not too interested in hair.
Should I have a cosmetology license and learn everything or just an esthetician license?

Hi there!
I am a licensed esthetician (Kansas) and I am also trained in lash extensions. Check your state boards to see who can perform mircoblading and do lash extensions. I know in Kansas you have to have your tattoo license to do mircoblading. You will have more jobs if you have your Cosmo license. But just make sure you talk to your state board to see who can do what in your state.
