Hi All, hope the new year is a new beginning for all the readers, I want a change in my current job so applied for assistant manager position in sephora. Does anyone has any clue or experience about this process? what should I prepare for the interview apart from company history etc? do they even hire someone from outside or just post the position like Mac cosmetics does for formality to sound fair
thank you in advance for this huge favour

Depending on what specific position you're applying for they might not hire someone externally, like if you're applying for Store Director they'll more than likely hire someone internally. Interview wise they're going to look for someone who's a team player, shows initiative, and will have passion for their clients.

I agree with Alexis, management positions are typically filled internally unless for whatever reason they don't have an eligible employee that has the skills or qualifications to fill the position. But I wish you luck!
