Any feedback on the Foreo Luna 2? My clarisonic just died so I'm looking to replace it. I'm especially wanting to know if it matters which skin type model I get. I have combination/oily skin but I can get the normal skin Luna in a pack which works out to be a better deal.

Personally and honestly from someone that's used both a Clarisonic and a Foreo, the Clarisonic is much better. It gives a much deeper cleanse and exfoliates better than the Foreo, my skin never felt fully clean with the Foreo. If you're really set on getting the Foreo, though, I would suggest the Combination model since you have combo skin, the normal head won't give you the same results with the oily parts of your skin because of the way the touch points are.

I completely agree with Alexis. I've had a Clarisonic for 4 almost 5 years (I've purchased two because I was traveling a lot) and I love it. Tried the Luna, and compared to my Mia, it didn't wow me. But, like Alexis mentioned, if you are set on the Foreo, then you might like it... there was just a huge difference to me and for that reason, I will always stick with Clarisonic.

Thanks ladies. I really wasn't a fan of the clarisonic. Having to replace the brushes every few months was frustrating, the nearest store that sells them is 45 minutes away and they're $35 each in Australia so it added up. Also I've only had it for a few years and it's gone mouldy and stopped working. I just want something more hygienic that will last longer.

I think the clairosonic would be best but if financially it doesn't really work for you then maybe try the other one ♡

I'm always confused when people say that the Foreo Luna 2 doesn't cleanse well, because it's really a wonderful product. I'd be quick to blame your cleanser over the tool itself, but my main guess is that a lot of people haven't really fully substituted physical exfoliation with chemical exfoliation, which is where the Luna 2 really shines, especially if you have sensitive skin. If you have severe dry patches and flakiness, there is nothing that will reasonably stop that from being an issue until it's treated with a proper skincare regimen.

I have a Foreo device (can't remember which one it is but it's one of the little ones) and I love mine. I wouldn't switch to a clarisonic now. My face always feels so much smoother and cleaner and I actually look forward to washing my face now! I wasn't sure if it was going to work on me because I get really dry skin and need to exfoliate more often but I don't have to as much now thanks to my little device. I love it!

I have had my Foreo Luna from way before it was even released in Sephora, right when it came out of testing.. and I love it!

But after my time on this forum, (I've made posts on Luna VS Clarisonic and check ups on my progress with the Luna) I have noticed a trend in what users like/dislike the Luna.
It seems those with Oily skin prefer the Clarisonic and those with Dry or Sensitive Skin prefer the Luna.

My skin is dry and sensitive... so I find the Clarisonic a little too rough, plus the expense isn't my favorite thing to think of. . that's gas money for me! My Luna is in my shower, falls all the time and is still going strong!

That's funny, Kitty, because I have oily skin and I'm using the sensitive Luna 2.

I feel as if my skin is much more 'normal' than it ever has been. It's also a little sensitive and I didn't really like how abrasive the clarisonic felt on my face.

I don't think you'll have a huge difference in performance between the different versions as long as you aren't extreme in any direction with your skin.

I do however highly recommend investing in a chemical exfoliant to pair with the device.

Thank you so much Leuca. Do you have any recommendations for chemical exfoliants? Previously I've only tried mild salicylic acid cleansers but I'm heading into my late 20's so it might be time to try some AHA's haha.
