Your Pamper Routine?

I put this in beauty because I wasn't quite sure where else to put it, sorry if I'm wrong!

Tomorrow is my birthday so today I'm spending the day pampering myself! I thought I would share the things I do to pamper myself (some days I do less than others but for today I'll share my complete pamper routine) and I'd love to hear what your routine is to pamper yourself and what products you use!

First I start with a long, hot bath with bubbles and bath salts. I always use the lavender epsom salts from Dr. Teals and bubbles from Avon.

While I'm in the shower I shave, which I know some people would consider to be maintenance rather than pampering but I just love how smooth and silky my legs feel after I shave. For that I exfoliate with the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Tropical Mango and use the Lush D'fluff to shave with.

Next I shower. This step I only do when I need to wash my hair and I don't want to wash my hair in my bubbly, soapy bath water, lol. I wash my hair with the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Shampoo and follow with a hair mask. I've been loving the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask.

While I let the hair mask sit I wash my body and I love using the Caress Daily Silk White Peach and Silky Orange Blossom, which always leaves my skin feeling so silky smooth. Finally I rinse the hair mask and towel dry.

I immediately moisturize my body with the Body Shop Body Butter in Pink Grapefruit.

Later on in the day I do my regular skincare routine but take the time to do a mask. Usually I use the GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment, which I absolutely love and my skin always feels so clean and refreshed after I use it. Occasionally I use one of the Sephora sheet masks instead of the GlamGlow mask but I much prefer the GlamGlow.

Sometimes I paint my nails but I'm not a very patient person so I don't like waiting for my nails to dry, lol.

So that's my routine and the products I use! I'd love to hear your routines and what products you like to use to pamper yourself!

Happy to share! This is what I do for my birthday:
The day before I go to my favourite spa, it's an Aveda spa, and they have a nice fairly reasonable package where you get a spa manicure/pedicure and brow wax for $75.00, it's 2.5 hours of pampering so great massages and beautiful work. Sometimes I get a blow out too, so I can do beach waves on my birthday. The next day I change my sheets so I have crisp, clean bedding to get into later on. I shower, exfoliate and shave, moisturize so I'm all groomed for the day. Later that evening, I light a good deal of scented candles and plain ones in my bedroom and bathroom, draw a bath, set my hair in rollers and remove my make up, exfoliate my face and put a hydrating masque on. I have a glass of wine or if I'm being really spendy, champagne and lounge in the bath for 15. I follow up now with oils and my favourite perfumes, remove the masque (this is after dinner with friends), serum and cream my face. I then put on something cuter than a baseball t and panties, and get into bed with another glass of wine/champagne with the dog, she's a mini poodle, and I read and text my guy who's overseas playing hockey. It's seems like a long process, but it's my birthday!

Hot bubble bath, exfoliate and shave in the tub. Hair mask and facial mask, shower. Lotion up my body and perfume. Face oil, Argan oil. Eye cream and do a sugar scrub on my lips. Befine lip serum after. I pluck my brows. Hot cup of tea or hot coco and watch makeup tutorials on YouTube.

Thank you for sharing, ladies! I forgot to mention that tonight I'll be ending my evening with a hot chocolate with kahlua (:

Happy early birthday! Well, when I can get sometime away from the fam, in peace and quiet, I do as many things as I can fit into the time I can manage. I draw a bath and then I add some warm vanilla sugar bubble bath from B&BW. After I exfoliate while sitting sit in the dark with a candle lit with classical music playing until my fingers start to "prune" and I have to get out because I hate pruney fingers. I then moisturize with the same scented lotion and put on some cozy warm pajamas. I proceed to lay in bed next to my kitty watching Criminal Minds until someone bothers me. :)

My pamper routine involves a lovely bath with a Lush bath bomb and bubble bar, I relax for a little bit with the lights off and some candles lit!

I then wash my hair with my Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and my Neutrogena hair mask! I will then exfoliate my body with the Soap and Glory Breakfast scrub and then use a Lush body conditioner, preferably Ro's Argan. I do also take the time to shave my legs and underarms, all that good stuff, hehe.

Once I'm out of the bath, I dry off and use It's A 10 Leave In conditioner and Chi Silk Infusion to help bring more moisture and TLC to my sadly damaged hair from so much hair dye, lol! Brushing my hair is pampering to me as well because I get all the knots out of my hair and it feels smooth!

I then change into the comfiest pajamas I can find and start my skincare routine which consists of some Mary Kay products from the Clearproof acne line and my Lush Eau Roma toner water.

Once I'm out of the bathroom, I make myself a cup of tea or hot chocolate and get a treat, I'm currently in love with indulging in a Ben and Jerry's pint of ice cream at the moment. ;)

Finally, I climb into bed with my snacks and tea and watch my favorite beauty videos and other subscriptions on YouTube!! I hope my pamper routine wasn't too much of an essay! xx
