Over the last month I've all of a sudden started getting pimples and acne. I have NEVER had acne before (I'm 21) and I'm so confused as to why all of a sudden it's everywhere! For the last month I've been cleansing with my foaming face wash and exfoliating with st ives apricot scrub. I'm a model by profession so it's very frustrating having all this acne come up!!
WHAT CAN I DO TO REMOVE THE ACNE?? WHAT REMOVES THE RED SCARS?
Thank you!!

The first thing you can do is ditch that scrub; it's tearing your skin up.
Just because your face wash foams doesn't mean it's doing its job, which is to clean your skin effectively without stripping it.
Please list the rest of your skincare routine and brief us on what you'd consider your skin type to be.

Have you had any jobs recently? Because a makeup artist could have used something that your skin didn't agree with. Don't worry about it,as far as modeling goes( I know from experience:-) as I am also a model 😜) the makeup artist will cover it up, and then if it's still visible, they will photo shop it out 😋

I did have a new makeup artist about a month ago actually! Maybe her products didn't mix well with me!
All I do for skin care @Leuca S. Is this...
Morning... nothing lol
Night... I wash my make up off in the shower with neutrogena deep clean foam cleanser. Then put OLAY complete enriched night cream.

I would recommend double cleansing or at lest using a makeup wipe first before washing your face, your cleanser might not be getting deep enough into your skin to cleanse properly because you're putting it over makeup. I love the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup, it's a cleansing balm so it'll remove makeup gently but effectively and then follow with your cleanser.
Personally I would switch cleansers as well. I'd suggest the Origins Checks & Balances, very gentle but effective so your skin will feel nice and clean plus it won't make you any more oily.

I don't see how a single makeup job would cause most of your face to erupt like that unless you were allergic to an ingredient, but an allergy that severe would likely have had a more obvious reaction than just breakouts.
Have you noticed increase sensitivity, or any other abnormal (for you) behavior in your skin?

I'm the same age, I get break outs all the time. I use the Kate Somerville ace treatment it's $25 USA it works like magic or neutrogena oil free acne wash 8usa it works the same. Get products that have salicylic acid or sulfur ingredients in them it will work the best.
