Hello! So I was wondering if any of you have used jojoba oil as a face moisturizer? I know that is is a good oil because it is the closest oil to the sebum in your skin, but I wanted to hear your guys experiences with it before I go buy some haha. Btw my skin is oily and acne prone.

If your skin is oily I don't think it is a great idea to use facial oil as a moisturizer. You should get a lotion moisturizer that is scent-free, non comedogenic, and oil-free. Also, consider adding a toner into your regimen :)

Cold pressed oils are a great addition to your skincare routine since they can help combat your skin's overproduction of oil. As long as the jojoba oil or any oil you're buying isn't refined and it's cold pressed. Some other good ones are argan oil, camellia oil, or maracuja (passionflower) oil. If you're that oily I'd say use the oil at night time in addition to a moisturizer on top! Always press the oil into the skin and 2-3 drops.

I use oils as moisturizer at night and I have oily skin. I made a combination of argan oil, jojoba oil and tea tree oil. Just make sure that the oils are pure and coldpressed even if that makes them more expensive.

I mix it with vit E oil and use it as a body moisturiser, it is absorbed very quickly and does not feel oily at all.
