I love using aloe vera straight from the plant as a moisturizer - I use it at night, though.

Using aloe Vera plant only is good if you have oily skin I think. It might be too light if you have dry skin. My natural skincare products are aloe based though and I really love it!

Aloe Vera is a humectant so there will have to be moisture in the room (Humidifier or bathroom). I wouldn't use it as my moisturizer... Try Shea Butter which won't clog pores and mix it with any oil of choice like Rosehip or Jojoba :)

Yes, aloe Vera is very beneficial to the skin it will soothe burns and inflamed skin but it is not good alone as a moisturizer. If you are interested in an aloe Vera based moisturizer. I highly recommend 100% pure moisturizers. They have a few choices for dry, combination (I use cherry coffee cream), and for oily skin.

It's better for oily skin, I'd apply it on damp skin and then put an emollient on top like any type of oil of your choice whether it's argan oil, olive oil, coconut oil etc
