My Fake Bake Flawless Review

Ok, I bought fake bake flawless last night and applied it after my shower. I also bought their face tanner. I don't think I'll repurchase. Actually, I KNOW I won't. I don't know why people rave about this product.

So I applied it first with the mitt, spraying on the mitt and rubbing on my body. I went back over, though, and sprayed it on my skin, and again rubbed it in with the mitt. Basically, to me, that's 2 coats. Maybe I just like being darker than the people who like it? Who knows, but I didn't shower for 24 hours (I barely smelled the icky dha smell that most fake tanners have) and when I did shower, I was left with an ok tan. It was nothing special though. I'd hate to see what it would look like with only one coating.

Now, I should add that I like to be TAN. I'm italian, and I can get pretty dark. I also am not the biggest fan of fake tanning. I like tanning beds and if anyone wants to take this thread there, I'll ignore it, because I'm not going to explain or defend my choices, nor do I care to hear opinions on them, because that's not what this thread is about. I'm only mentioning it because some details are relevant. When I tan in a bed, I only use accelerator lotions, not bronzing lotions, which include dha/self tanner. I prefer my "real," deep tan. The only self tanner I've ever been TRULY satisfied with is sunlabs dark sunsations, but I was hoping to like something a bit less expensive, because the price of that one keeps going up. My point, though, is that I like to have a deep, dark tan, and this self tanner is NOT giving me that!! The positives were that it was easy to apply, and it really, really did not have the typical tanning smell that comes out of almost every lotion by the next day. Like I said, I waited 24 hours to shower and I barely smelled it.

I just wanted to put my review out there for people to see because I really have seen only a handful of negative reviews on fake bake flawless. That is all:)

Fuck you Mel. My dad died of cancer in september. You're a bitch. It's none of your concern what I do and the fact that you had to comment on it makes you look pathetic.

girls, I'm glad I could offer another opinion and maybe help some of you!

That was not very called for Mel... Thank you though, I'm usually tan but now I'm so light definitely won't try this out!

I mean honestly, people should really think about what they say because they have no idea what other people have experienced in their lives. I didn't want to go here but here goes: my dad was 56 years old when he died from cancer in Sept. He was HEALTHY his whole life. He did not drink, smoke, he didn't do any of the things that are supposedly sooo bad for you and cause cancer. And guess what? He's still dead. I watched cancer take over his entire body extremely quickly because one day he was healthy and then he wasn't. So nobody is going to go there with me. Period.

Courtney, if your skin is really light now, you may like the color payoff that comes from it! I just know for me, my skin is darker anyway and I expected more of a color change. I hope I'm explaining that ok.. lol

First, I'm so so sorry about your dad, cancer is not only destructive to the person who has it but to the people around them, since you have to watch them go through so much pain.. I hope no one makes a rude comment like that to you again.

Maybe.. hmmm! Or maybe I should wait for the sun -_- I'm half filipino, so usually I'm SUPER tan, but for some reason I'm extremely light.. even lighter than my white dad.. :/ Maybe I'll give it a try, thank you!
