HELP! Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Issues.

I love Estée Lauder Double Wear and I've never had this issue with my NYX HD Concealer or my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. How are you applying the foundation?

Sometimes I've had an issue with my contour removing foundation from a clients forehead. (Cream contour). I think it was because I didn't moisturize the skin well enough. I understand that's a completely different product, but same principle. They say not to apply liquid or cream on top of powder, but if you do it carefully the right way it can work. Maybe try setting your under eye area first and then lightly tapping the concealer on with your finger. Or you can do what I do- I don't put my foundation under my eyes, I leave the area open and just use concealer/brightner there. Hope that helps!

If you just touch the foundation with your fingers after you apply it does it transfer? If it does then the foundation isn't setting/hasn't had enough time to set so when you apply and blend your concealer it's lifting/moving it.

I find this happens when I use the estee Lauder double wear maximum coverage foundation. It happens when I use a damp sponge! I would advise to try blending your concealer with either your finger or a small brush or flat foundation brush.

It's separating the concealer and the concealer consistency is like a water product washing away the makeup if you are applying to much on and using a sponge in a wiping motion (with to much liquid). I would just go straight to the Estee lauder double wear concealer in the pot to fix the issue.Argon oil will just make it separate as well. Last resort could be a barrier spray to help adhere the product to stay in place. :)
Are you using the LA girl concealer brush attached to it when applying it? That in it's self is mopping product off.Liquid concealer is not agreeing with your skin you need a concealer pot. :)

I've had the same issue, I have found that if I take a damp beauty blender with transluesant powder and apply in dabbing motions pushing into the skin before applying my concealer I don't get this issue. Then apply concealer over powder, blend out again with beauty blender that you used with the powder on it and then reapply powder. A clear setting powder works great or if you have a correctional powder to suit your needs. Make sure you remove all excess moisture from your blender by squeezing in a towel after moistening :) hope this helps!
