Which do you prefer?

I hardly wear make up and when I do it's only a little. I put concealer only on the spots that need it to even out my skin tone, colour correct spots that I have to get rid of a bit of redness and my dark circles. Do my brows put on mascara and I'm good to go. But the other day I just evened out my skin tone, and dark circles and headed out to town. I felt good! I don't do full coverage make up I'm too scared to do so lol. I was just wondering what other people prefer. Full coverage or natural? And if you do one of them would you come out of your comfort zone and do the other?

Also do have a preferred way of applying foundation? I always use my beauty blender because the thought of using something else scares me because I have dry skin and the dampness of the sponge helps to combat that. However, I recently bought the real techniques stippling brush and used that. I was so surprised as I really liked it! It smoothed out my foundation nicely! So what are thoughts? :)

Sorry this turned out so long lol

I've gone out makeup free, with a full face, and everything in between. I don't have a preference, it just depends on where I'm going, what I'm doing, and how lazy I am.

I love using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to apply my foundation because I can really buff my foundation into my skin so it's not just sitting on top of the skin.

I like middle of the road, natural to medium coverage. I also have dry skin, so I also use the Beauty Blender in the winter. I have less dry skin the rest of the year so I use my Morphe E44 Buffing brush then. It's so huge, dense and soft. And the "give" of the bristles makes it feel like I'm using a sponge on a stick. It's a like a sponge/brush hybrid. Similar to the Real Techniques buffing brush, but twice the size, softer and a bit more give. You don't even have to "buff" the E44, you can pounce it like the Beauty Blender. But it does give a medium to full coverage. I don't like stippling brushes for medium to full foundations. They're better for Bbs or sheer foundations.

I feel like I always either go out in absolutely nothing or full coverage, I don't really have an inbetween. And I also use my Beauty Blender to apply foundation. I have tried so many different brushes, but I just can't seem to get the flawless appearance that a BB gives me. The brushes just seem to work product into my pores while the BB gives me more flawless skin.

I'll have to try those brushes out, Alexis and Marleen :)
I found that I couldn't get a flawless appearance unless I used the BB too, Shelby. That's why I was surprised with the brush :)

It depends on where I'm going. if it's just to class, then it's concealer, blush (I'm very pale so I need the color), mascara, and lip balm. If I'm going on a date or out for girls night I'll wear a full face. I use my beauty blender for foundation, I prefer the way my foundation looks applied with it over other brushes.

Bare Minerals actually has a unique stippling brush that has stiffer bristles than the regular stippling brush. It gives more control because the bristles don't really splay like traditional stippling brushes. It has gotten mixed reviews. But I think those who gave it a bad review (said it was streaky) used it with medium to full coverage foundations. It's supposed to be used with a tinted moisterizer or sheer foundation. It is even paired up with their TM. I'm not necessarily recommending this brush, because like I said, I don't wear TMS or BBs or sheer foundations.

Whenever I head out I don't really do full coverage. I used to in highschool but I stopped that when I got out of school and just did concealer for coverage and other makeup my skin has felt and looked a lot better. Especially since I don't go out as much anymore because I'm usually home all day with the kids. But when I do go out and I'm in a hurry, like to a morning appointment or something, I just end up going all natural. But if my lips feel like they need it I just wear lip balm. And now I don't mind because my skin repaired itself from all those times I wore foundation everytime I went outside. I love the feeling of letting my skin breathe.

For some reason I thought most people would do full coverage, I don't know why, but it's nice to see that you do what you feel like. I'm trying to get into a good skin routine so I'm mostly letting my skin breathe. I was just curious as to what others do :)

I prefer medium to full coverage, I don't have that many imperfections to cover only evening out my skintone (luckily) I just love the look of a medium to full coverage foundation on me! I generally use a sponge to apply it but it depends on which foundation I use, when I use estee lauder double wear I use a sponge but if I use estee lauder double wear maximum coverage foundation I use the rt buffing brush, that foundation blends so easily and even looks great applied with fingers!

Oh and yes I would use light coverage foundation too but it's not that often.

And I also have very dry skin so I love using a damp sponge:) There's a beauty blender dupe by Joe Fresh and it is amazzzinngg btww:):)

I usually don't wear makeup just because I'm lazy in the morning. But when I wear makeup, I wear a full coverage because I love makeup so much and I don't care about what someone will think about it.

I use sponge for applying foundation :)

I've always wanted to try that Estee Lauder foundation but I don't like paying a lot of money for make up that I hardly ever wear, I always use drugstore :)
I'll have to check that dupe out, thanks for mentioning it Bri-bri :)
Yeah I'm lazy on a morning too, Karmen so that's another reason why I hardly wear make up lol :)

Wear what makes you comfortable and confident. I've worn both and prefer neutral but that's me. I also LOVE my beauty blender.

I personally prefer a fuller coverage, I don't know really why because my skin isn't really problematic, I never started using makeup with a light coverage, I dipped straight into fuller coverage so that's probably why. I've tried lighter coverage foundations but I don't really like how they look on me, almost make my skin look worse than enhancing it, if that makes sense haha. I use my RT buffing brush or my RT sponge. :)

I will do Rebecca :)
Yeah I'm more comfortable with natural, so I prefer that to Sofia :)
Haha, It does make sense Shaye :)
