So every time I try no heat versions of making my hair curly my hair always becomes a big poofy mess. Yes I have curls but it doesn't look cute. I can't seem to find out how to fix that. Thanks for you help in advance :)

Do you put product in your hair before you try the no heat method? And are you not into heat methods?

I have that problem when I sleep or lay on my hair. Try using mousse beforehand to tame your hair before you wrap it up in whatever method you choose or keeping it damp (with or without mousse) when you do it. Also, make sure after you take your hair out, not to brush or comb your hair! That will make it even poofier and frizzier. Be gentle with your curls or waves when taking it out, kind of shake out your hair and use your fingers to pull them apart.
Hope this helps!

My hair has natural wave so it's like yours in a way I've tried so many things and just poof.
