I'm in the market for a new morning routine moisturizer and I would really like some input. I need something lightweight that sinks in quickly. I have combination skin, oily tone that's prone to breakouts but the rest of my face is fairly average. I've had a hard time finding something that doesn't instantly break me out, I was using stilla's skin care line but it's no longer available. Please please help!

Embryolisse is a staple in most makeup artists kits because it's amazing. They have the regular moisturizer, then there's the Hydra Matt that's geared more towards oily skin. In my opinion, Embryolisse is the best. You can order it online, and they're actually about to start selling in Target in February sometime. It's a fab moisturizer, it's the first step I use on every single client.

I love Embryolisse however if you are acne prone as Kathryn said you may want to try the hydra matt one. I haven't tried that one bc I have dry mature skin but the one I use does seem to break me out if I haven't been super perfect in my skincare routine. I think it's bc it's so rich which is great for dry skin but I don't know if it clogs up your skin in the process.

Don't quote me though bc like I said it could just be hormones and or my skin not being in perfect condition to begin with:)

Moisturizer isn't really supposed to be magical. If you're looking for something that moisturizes, is lightweight, has an option for oily skin, then my suggestion for Embryolisse fits the bill, although I'm sure it's not the only one. It is just moisturizer, there's no claims to overnight face lifts or anything, but it does moisturize wonderfully!  ☺️

Ole Henriksen Nurture Me. It's $40, but a little goes a long way! It is amazing. Fabulous for sensitive skin. Smells amazing! I work at Sephora and I've maybe seen it returned once. It's amazing!!

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I'm going to look more into embryolisse! I definitely can't do oils and I don't buy into the younique products but I really appreciate all the input!

O thank you April! It's funny you mention this product because it's been sitting in my cart for sometime now and I've just been so unsure on which way to go! I'm totally willing to pay whatever I need to take care of my temperamental skin lol.

PLEASE do your skin a favor and try it! I don't make commission, I just love it!! I can't use any oils. The Josie maran products break me out. I wish I could support her stuff Bc she liked my photos on Instagram (I respect brands who like nobodies lol) but I'm obsessed with nurture me. I don't buy into the younique stuff either. I watched a video of a girl using the mascara and it took her 4 minutes to finish her eyes lol.

I know this thread has run its course but I just wanted to thank April, I'm absolutely in love with this moisturizer, and no new breakouts to be spoken of which is always my fear with moisturizer!
